“Imagination is not only the uniquely human capacity to envision that which is not, and therefore the fount of all invention and innovation. In its arguably most transformative and revelatory capacity, it is the power that enables us to empathize with humans whose experiences we have never shared.”
“…The more I’ve read about them, the more horrible they seem, and the less I can believe that he actually made six. It warns in this book how unstable you make the rest of your soul by ripping it, and that’s just by making one Horcrux!”“

Did I do it right?
Do you want to participate in a present for J.K. Rowling’s birthday? This is your chance.
Jo’s birthday is next July 31st and we want to pay a tribute, a very special gift from all her readers.
The project consists of a photo album full of pictures of Harry Potter and Jo fans who wish to participate, sending me pictures along with a small text. The perfect way for our favourite writer to learn about us and know how much we admire and appreciate her.
The full album with all the pictures will be sent to J.K. Rowling before her birthday so she can read our messages and see our pictures. Are you going to be left out? Everyone can take part and your pictures and texts will be included.
You can dress up for the occasion; take a picture with your favourite Harry Potter book or even The Casual Vacancy. All you have to do is follow these instructions:
- Every picture must be sent to email@example.com and they will be accepted up to June 15th 2013.
- In the pictures, one person or more must appear along with one book by J.K. Rowling (Harry Potter, The Casual Vacancy, Beedle the Bard…).
- The pictures must have enough quality to be printed. Pictures taken with a normal camera are accepted.
- The text that can appear with your picture (which is optional) must be sent in the same email as the picture, it must not have more than 100 words. It must be in English.
So if you want to participate send me a picture and your message (optional) to firstname.lastname@example.org before June 15th!
How can you help me? Reblog this post so all your followers can read this and participate too. Thank you very much!
Thank you very much for your birthday messages! May I remind you that you can still send your pictures to the birthday present of a much more important and special person, J.K. Rowling!
These are my two favorite things in the world together.
